We offer medication management for chronic pain including narcotics, muscle relaxants, neuropathic medications
and antidepressants. The medication management in conjunction with interventional therapies help our patients
control their pain.
We also offer narcotic detoxification on outpatient basis with Suboxone Therapy. Dr. Arvind has obtained special
certification which enables her to detoxify patients on outpatient basis when deemed appropriate.
Our patients are monitored very closely on their appropriate usage of their prescription narcotics. We also do
periodic urine toxicology screen to confirm appropriate usage of medications.
At Cardinal Pain Center, we believe Injections should not be used in isolation, but rather in
conjunction with a program stressing muscle flexibility, strengthening, and functional restoration.
These injections are an adjunct treatment to medications, which facilitates participation in an active
exercise program and may assist in avoiding the need for surgical intervention.
