Vijay Arvind, MD
Physician:
Dr. Vijay Arvind is a Harvard trained physician with Fellowship Training and Board
Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology.
She completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School in 1999.
She stayed at Harvard to complete a fellowship in Pain Management in 2000.
Dr. Arvind is skilled in all aspects of interventional pain management techniques,
but has particular interest in spinal cord stimulation and Rhizotomy procedures.
Additionally, she is interested in Viscosupplementation (the injection of gel-like
substances such as Synvisc, Hyalgan, Supartz, and Orthovisc into joint spaces to
supplement the viscous properties of synovial fluid).
Certification in Pain Management.
She is an anesthesiologist by training, which makes her a very well qualified Pain Management Physician.
She is very empathetic and is able to treat each patient with compassion and caring that they deserve.
She is well trained to handle Comprehensive Pain therapies including Narcotic Medications, Suboxone
Detoxification and advanced Interventional techniques.
